Impact on the Community Scholarship

New York attorneys at Silberstein, Awad & Miklos, P.C. strive to bring the highest quality of service and ethics to every case. Following this mission, they are pleased to announce their Impact on the Community Scholarship. They would like to recognize someone who has devoted their time to improving someone else’s life in their community by awarding them a $1,000 scholarship.

If you’ve made a positive impact on your community, they’d like to hear your story. They believe there are many ways to make an impact, because even the smallest actions can make a difference. Whether that is starting a community garden, volunteering at an animal shelter, helping kids with their homework or donating supplies to a homeless shelter.

Interested applicants should write a 750-1000 word essay, discussing a time when you made a positive impact on someone or something in your community, and how that experience changed you as a person.

Send your transcript, resume, and essay as separate attachments to no later than June 30, 2020.

Application emails must include the subject line: “[Applicant’s Name} – Impact on the Community” to be considered.
