Teach For Alaska Scholarship

The Teach for Alaska Scholarship is an academic award to incoming undergraduate students who plan to attend a University of Alaska campus and study to become a teacher. This is a renewable scholarship that follows the student through eight semesters over five years of schooling. The scholarship is important because it is specifically aimed at students who are so essential to our future. It highlights Alaska’s need for UA-educated teachers and underscores our goal to graduate 90 percent of Alaska’s teachers from UA by 2025.

Requirements: Incoming undergraduate students to any University of Alaska campus; majoring in Education; must maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.5.
