Alaska Women in Mining Memorial Scholarship

The Alaska Women in Mining Memorial Scholarship provides scholarships, in honor of a notable person or persons in mining, to Mining Engineering students attending University of Alaska Fairbanks. The first scholarship given each year is given in the name of Doris Vogler.

Requirements: must be an Alaska resident; enrolled full-time at University of Fairbanks and studying mining engineering; demonstrated motivation, and academic and leadership potential; be in good academic standing with a minimum GPA of 2.5. Preference will be given to students at the collegian (as opposed to secondary school) junior or senior level.
